10/16/2021 0 Comments Buy Liquid Dishwasher Soap - How to Cut Costs When You Need to Buy Dishwashing Soap Most people don't buy liquid dishwashing soap because they think liquid detergent is generally a better cleaner product and therefore it's more economical to use liquid dishwasher detergent. There's nothing wrong with using detergent. It works great for cleaning your dishes. And liquid detergents are safer for dishes than is most liquid detergent that is on the market. That's a big mistake! Let's face it, liquid dishwashing detergent doesn't do as good a job cleaning your dishes as regular detergent does. Liquid detergent doesn't break down as much dirt and food as does its powdered counterpart. For that reason, when you're looking to buy liquid dishwashing soap, keep these three tips in mind: First, don't buy liquid dishwashing soap unless you're absolutely sure that the containers the detergent comes in are dishwasher friendly. Dishwasher detergents are generally made from petroleum-based chemicals and they will definitely leach out into the water that you're washing your dishes in. That's just the nature of what you're getting when you make detergent. And remember, the only way that you can really keep mild dish soap out of your water is if you've got a liner in your sink. Second, if you buy liquid dishwashing soap, don't get the cheapest detergent you can find. It may be cheaper than the detergent you use to clean your clothes washer, but there's a reason for that. Cheap detergents typically use harsh chemical additives to ensure they remain priced cheap. This dish soap alternative is actually very good at cleaning stains out of your clothes. Finally, the best dish soap will be one that contains either sodium sulfate or potassium sorbate. Sodium sulfate is an inexpensive chemical cleaner that's used to help with cleaning up oil stains and other stubborn stains. So how do we know which dish washing detergent works the best? We test them. To test them, we simply go to a big box store like Walmart and pick a bunch of different brands of dish detergents off a rack. We then blindfolded test each one by leaving the lid of the cup on the dishwasher for fifteen minutes so we could see what happens. We then blindfold test each one again by leaving the lid open for fifteen minutes. It doesn't matter that we're talking about liquid soap making and that we're using a fairly inexpensive product. All of us want to save money. But it does seem like something that we should pay extra attention to when it comes to our dishes. Sodium sulfate and potassium sorbate can hurt us in a variety of ways, and sometimes they even make us sick. So it seems like we should at least try to find a cheaper source for our cleaning soap.
